The film got released on 16th December 2022 and the budget of the film is 350-400 Million. If converting to Indian Rupees, the production cost is more than Rs 3000 crores. 

As expected by the makers and fans of Avatar 2 it has started on a rock-solid note and brought a storm at the global box office too. It is estimated that the film will have a massive box office collection globally approx $500-600 million.

In India, the number for Avatar 2 is driven by South India more than in North India. Though the movie failed to beat Avengers Endgame.

As per Avatar 2 box office collection estimation, it earned around Rs 38 Crores in India and it is expected that it may earn Rs 40 Crores on day 2, Saturday which will be the 1st weekend for the film.
