Breaking: Supreme Court stays the Implementation of 3 farms laws until further orders

A big win for the protesting farmers ! Supreme Court has put a stay on implementation of three farm laws. "Supreme Court stays the implementation of three farms laws until further orders", news Agency ANI reads. Apex Court has also formed a committee to hold talks on the farm laws.

The Hon'ble Supreme Court stay comes within 24 hours when Supreme Court on Monday started hearing on the petitions filed by the farmer unions and challenged by the Solicitor General.

A three-judge bench, headed by the CJI, was hearing a batch of petitions regarding the constitutional validity of three farm laws, passed by the Central government.

Formation of a Committe:  We are forming a committee so that we have a clearer picture. We don't want to hear arguments that farmers will not go to the committee. We are looking to solve the problem. If farmers want to agitate indefinitely, you can do so, CJI Bobde said delivering the verdict.
