JoSAA Counselling Seat Allotment Result 2021 Round 1 Declared; Admissions till October 30

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the round 1 seat allotment result 2021 on its site josaa.nic.in. The candidates who have applied for JoSAA Counselling 2021 now can check the 1st round results from the official site and click on the link to view results. In order to check the allotment result, the student's JEE Main application number and password are required. The candidates who have been selected in round 1 have to report online for admission up to October 30, 2021.

JoSAA counselling is held for admission to IITs, NITs, Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and some Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) for the students who have qualified JEE Advanced 2021. These selected candidates have to pay the counselling fee and upload the required documents by the due date i.e October 30. The second round of the allotment list will be released on November 01, 2021.

Further, the candidates are advised to install the "Sandes" mobile app on their smartphone with a registered mobile number to get all counselling related OTP, messages and letters.

JoSAA Counselling 2021 Allotment Result: How To Check

1. Go to the JoSAA website at josaa.nic.in

2. Click on ‘View Seat Allotment Result - Round 1’

3. Log in with JEE(Main) Application Number, Password, and security pin

4. Click on Login, your allotment result status will appear on the screen.

Students who want to withdraw their seats can do so starting from the second round and closing in the fifth round. After JoSAA counselling, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will conduct 2 counselling rounds to fill vacant seats under the NIT+ system. Once the admissions for candidates qualified through JEE Advanced are over, the admission process for JEE Main qualified candidates will begin. They have to apply for admission to institutes other than the IITs in this round.
