IIM Indore student grab 50 Lakh package, highest of current session so far

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore student grabbed the 50 lakh package from an MNC Company. On Friday the package was allotted to student of IIM Indore of 50 Lakh per annum, 23% more to highest of last year’s package in Institute. As per report published, the student has been offered 50L package by an indigenous company to work in country and this is the highest of Institute this Placement season. Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM-I) students, this amount is 23 percent higher than the last year’s maximum offered. 

For last two years a grueling regime the Institute has been facing, the PGP participants at IIM Indore have become geared up for the companies coming to the campus and looking forward to the culmination of their efforts in the form of attractive jobs that are up for offer, said placement coordinator IIM Indore.

IIM Student grabs 50 Lakh Package

On Friday it is revealed that student from IIM Indore has received an annual package of RS 50 lakh during placement drive being conducted at IIM Indore. The 50 lakh annual package is given to work in the country and this is brilliant, source added. For IIM Indore the highest package grabbed last year was 40.5 lakhs and so far 23% is hike, out student have grabbed this year and more opportunities are in front of students, an Institute official said. During the final placements of students at IIM-I last year, there was a proposal of RS 40.5 lakhs to work in country by indigenous Company. This time a student of Institute has grabbed 23% more than last years’ for the job in the country, and this time more than that.

IIM Indore Job Offers from abroad:

The Institute official added that during the Institute placement, two offers of job came from abroad and also taken by students of IIM-I. However, the disclosure of the grabbed amount is not confirmed yet.

All Students got Placement: 

The Institute official said that the students of IIM Indore received salary offers of more than RS 22.92 lakhs on average from more than 160 employers from India and abroad. The official said that all the 578 students who completed their studies at IIM-Indore in year 2020 have got job offers during the placement process. This batch is the largest batch of Indian management institutes across the country to pass the course in a single academic session & all grabbed the placement. 

The students from IIM-Indore's two-year Post Graduate Program (PGP) and the five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) also performed brilliant and secured fine placements this year added, Coordinator.

Students of Indian Institute of Management, Indore were given 23 percent more this year than last year.

40 Lakh package to IIM Nagpur Student

Where on other hand IIM Nagpur student grabbed 40 Lakh package this year. IIM Nagpur after completed the final placement process for the fourth batch of students on Friday relvealed the placement drive result. Enrolled candidates through its flagship Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP 2018-20) finished on March 6, 2020. With double the batch size as compared to the previous batch of 2017-19, this year IIM Nagpur achieved 100% placement and closed the placements two weeks earlier, as compared to last year, a statement from the Institute confirmed. The highest domestic package offered saw a 100% increment from Rs 20 lakh of last year's to Rs 40 lakh this year, with average of RS 13.10 lakh, report covered.

Further, the average package offered for the top 5% and 10% of the batch was Rs 28 lakh and Rs 21.60 lakh respectively.
