Haryana College Admission 2021 Waiting List Out, Physical Open Counselling Registration Begins

Department of Higher Education, Haryana will publish the waiting list for Open Physical Counselling from today, on September 28, 2021. The waiting list will be available in College Login on daily basis. Once it is released, the interested applicants can check the college-wise waiting list, vacant seats, and open counselling schedule, etc. In addition to that, the registration at the DHE Haryana admission portal for open counselling for leftover seats will also commence today. 

As per the schedule, Haryana College Physical Open Counselling has started on September 28, 2021. Course wise comprehensive waiting list of all interested applicants along with phone numbers will be provided to the respective colleges on daily basis in their College Login on the Admission Portal, at dheadmissions.nic.in.

The first waiting list will contain all the interested applicants who applied on or before the last date of registration (i.e. September 06, 2021). The new registrations/ editing of application forms for open counselling will start after the issuance of the first waiting list and such applicants will be considered in subsequent waiting lists (i.e. September 29, 2021, onwards) along with old applicants.

DHE Haryana Open Counselling- Waiting List Update:

Sept 29: A new registration link for open counselling has been enabled by the Department. Click here for Open Physical Counselling registration.

The number of vacant seats in the respective college will be displayed in due course. The candidates are asked to keep a check at the admission portal.

Sept 28: The student login link has been activated. Students can check the same at the DHE Admission portal. Already registered users have to enter their Registration Number, Password, and click on “Login” and continue.

List of Documents to be uploaded online by the applicant:

• Passport size photograph and Signature
• Classes 10th & 12th Marksheets
• Migration Certificate (In case of other than Haryana Board)
• Character Certificate
• NCC ‘B’ / Bharat Scouts & Guides / Sports Certificate, if applicable.
• Bonafide Resident of Haryana Certificate, if applicable.
• Reserved Category Certificate, if applicable.
• Income Certificate, if applicable.
• Gap Year Undertaking/ Affidavit, if applicable.

The colleges will conduct open physical counselling at their own level to prepare and display the merit list with effect from today, September 28 and it will be conducted on daily basis, if required, as per affiliating University/Government norms. The account of filled and vacant category-wise seats will be managed by colleges only during Physical Open Counselling. Reservation policy shall be implemented in letter and spirit.

According to the Physical Counselling guidelines, the college will offer the seat and enable the payment option to the selected candidates on the admission portal. The candidate has to book the seat by paying the fee on the same day on which the seat is offered by the college. The candidate will be shown the list of all colleges/ courses in the student login where the seat has been offered based on the open merit lists displayed by colleges.

For the students who took admission earlier in the first or second merit list and now opted to book the seat through physical open counselling, their admission from the previous college/course shall be automatically cancelled. The refund, in this case, will be initiated by the previous college as per norms where the student book the admission seat in the 1st or 2nd merit list.

"Once the seat is booked by the candidate (whether through online mode or offline mode of payment), the receipt would be shown in the candidate’s login. Also, the status of the previously allotted seat (if any) will be shown as cancelled", reads the official notice regarding Physical counselling.
