This move by Beijing shows that China is not refraining from its traditional aggressive and expansionist policies in the region. PLA's concentration in the Tibet Autonomous Region is an alarming factor for India as it has been speculated by many defense officials that China might be planning something big against India.

In response to this, on Friday, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs had said that a "complete disengagement between the Indian and Chinese troops along the LAC would allow both sides to consider de-escalation of forces in Eastern Ladakh as that alone will lead to the restoration of peace and tranquillity and provide conditions for progress in our bilateral relationship."
