DMK MLA J Anbazhagan passes away on 62nd birthday after struggling with CoronaVirus

DMK leader and MLA from Chepauk-Triplicane (Tamil Nadu) J Anbazhagan lost the battle against CoronaVirus and took his last breath in Chennai today morning. He was COVID19 positive and was facing trouble in breathing. J Anbazhagan was born on 10th June 1958 and passed away on his 62nd birthday. 

J Anbazhagan was admitted to Chennai's Dr. Rela Hospital on 2nd June and was tested positive for pandemic CoronaVirus. He was kept on ventilator on 3rd June as his condition was not improving and his breathing trouble worsened. 

62 years old DMK MLA is the first big politician who died of CoronaVirus in Tamil Nadu and opposition has already started targeting the ruling party for not being able to control the deadly virus in the state. The opposition also alleged that the death of J Anbazhagan is the result of the state government's negligence. 

He was serving as District Secretary - Chennai West of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party (DMK) and was elected to the Theagaraya Nagar Constituency in 2001 elections. He won the Assembly Election from Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni constituency in Chennai District for two consecutive years 2011 and 2016. 

In 2013 he marked his debut in Tollywood as a film producer and produced Tamil film Aadhi Baghavan and also distributed Yaaruda Mahesh in the same year.
