Big budget action epic Bramhastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji, just opened in theatres amid much anticipation but received mixed reviews. The movie had decent advance reservations from all throughout the nation when it debuted. Many trade experts are skeptical about its future box office performance, especially after advance booking dry down.

To get to the point, Disney+ Hotstar has the post-theatrical OTT streaming rights to Bramhastra. The release of the movie on huge screens yesterday proved the same. When it comes to collecting popular Indian big names, Disney+ Hotstar has been increasing the ante. The OTT juggernaut debuted Akshay Kumar's Cuttputlli earlier this month. They have just acquired Bramhastra, one of the more anticipated recent Bollywood films.

Brahmastra TV Rights

The satellite rights for Bramhastra are held by Star MAA. For the rights to transmit Bramhastra on digital and satellite platforms, The Star Network appears to have made a significant financial commitment.

Brahmastra OTT Release Date

Considering it's a big-budget film, it is highly likely that Brahmastra will have a very long theatrical run & it will likely compete with Vikram Vedha as well. Going by this trend, it will take at least 50 days for the fill to have its theatrical release. Brahmastra may have a theatrical release in the last week of October or we can say it will have a Diwali release.
