73rd Army Day: President Kovind to PM Modi, leaders extend wishes to Indian Army soldiers

Indian Army is celebrating its 73rd Army Day on Friday, January 15. CDS General Bipin Rawat, Army Chief General MM Naravane, IAF Chief Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria, and Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh pay tributes to the fallen soldiers at National War Memorial.

On Army Day, Indian President Ram Nath Kovind extends greetings to the valiant men and women of the Indian Army. Remembering the bravehearts who made the supreme sacrifice in service to the nation President Kovind says country will remain forever grateful to courageous and committed soldiers, veterans and their families.

On Friday, January 15 when Indian Army is celebrating its 73rd Army Day, PM Modi writes On Army Day, greetings to the valiant men and women of the Indian Army. We remember the bravehearts who made the supreme sacrifice in service to the nation. India will remain forever grateful to courageous and committed soldiers, veterans and their families.

Extending his wishes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulates the mighty soldiers of Indian Army and their families in defence of the Mother Bharati. PM Writes, "Congratulations to the mighty soldiers of the country and their families on Army Day in defence of Mother Bharati. Our army is strong, courageous and determined, which has always raised the head of the country with pride. I salute the Indian Army on behalf of all the countrymen".

Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amrinder Singh extending his wishes on the Army DAY writes, I salute the indomitable courage & valour of all ranks in Indian Army who guard our frontiers & defend us day & night despite inhospitable terrain & weather. We are all proud of you for protecting the nation and for the yeoman service rendered in times of any crisis.

Among other dignatries US Ambassador to India Ken Juster wished Indian Army on the Army Day "Wishing the @adgpi a Happy #ArmyDay. We look forward to working with you to further strengthen the #USIndiaDefense partnership, writes Juster.

CDS General Rawat in his message praising the valour of Indian Army writes, "On the historic Army day, We pay homage and express our gratitude to those brave soldiers whose Valour and Supreme Sacrifice in line of duty inspires us to rededicate ourselves with renewed vigour.

Your dauntless Courage, Indomitable Spirit and unparalled Devotion to Duty, in the true traditions and ethos of the Indian Army, will continue to inspire future generations".
