Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Saaho' has been the talk of the town since the announcement. The trailer teaser and the songs of the film have received a lot of love from all the quarters. The film is considered one of the most anticipated films of the year. The multilingualism action flick is one most expensive films in the history of Indian cinema.
After a large number of pre-release buzz around the film, it has finally hit the theatres on August 30. However, the northern states faced a delay in the release owing to late delivery of 2K prints to theatres. And according to BoxOfficeIndia, 'Saaho' raked in Rs 24 crore on its opening day. The film performed well in Mumbai, Gujarat as well as Marathwada. The collection in the North was less due to the late arrival of the prints.
Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho continues to perform well despite mixed reviews. In the on-going Week two of its release, the film has collected over Rs 400 crore in its worldwide box office collection. The Hindi version of the film looks all set to mark Rs 150 crore collection this week, 'Baahubali: The Conclusion'.
