Mohanlal Age

Mohanlal Viswanathan was born on 21st may 1960 in Elanthoor, Kerala, India. He is an Indian actor, producer, playback singer and distributer. He is mainly works in Malayalam film in his life he has acted in more than 340 films. He performed in Thiranottam Malayalmam film in 1978 as the age of teenager but unfortunately film was delayed in its release of 25 years due to censorship issues. He is good acter in role of hero as well as in villain, which was shown in his first debut film Manjil Virinja Pookkal, in the year of 1980. Besides this he also played a side role which was also playing a best in every charcter. He prefare in the field of Malayalam industry but also worked in some other industry like Hendi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.

In his career life he won a Five National Awards- for the best acting he got Special Jury Mention and Special Jury Award and an award for Best Feature Film as a producer not only this he also got nine Kerala State Film Awards and Filmfare Awards South and Numerous other accolades. He also honoured with the Padma Shri in the year of 2001 and Padma Bhushan in 2019. His life was changed in 2009 when he became the first actor to be awarded the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army not only this he recived honorary doctorates from Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit in 2010 and from Calicut University in 2018.
