WBPSC releases West Bengal Civil Service Notification 2021; Apply for Group A, B before 15th January

WBCS(Exe) Etc. Exam, 2021-Online Registration: Online Registration of Application in reference to West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Etc., Examination, 2021 commences on from the 24th Date of December 2020 with the Closing Date for Online Application befalling the 15th Date of January 2021 (15.01.2021 - up to 12:00 Midnight). Online Payment of Fee also closes on the Even Date, Closing Date for submission of Fee through Offline Mode shall come to an end on the16th Date of January 2021. However, the Candidates / Applicants may generate the Challan by the 15th of January 2021 positively. The Candidates may apply Online.

Eligibility as on 01.01.2021: Un-Reserved Category Candidates should have attained Minimum 21 Years and must not exceed 36 Years.  Those under Reserved Community shall be given Relaxation in Upper Age Limit (mentioned in the Advertisement No.17/2020).

Educational Qualification: The Candidates must have in possession Bachelor's Degree awarded by any University Duly Recognized by the University Grants Commission. The Candidates must have the Ability to Read and Write Bengali excepting those whose Mother-tongue is Nepali.  

Rs. 210/- (Rupees Two Hundred Ten) only + Service Charge 1% of Examination Fee subject to Minimum of Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five only) only for Online Payment through Credit / Debit Card plus service charge / GST As Applicable as Government Duty or Service Charge of Rs. 5/- (Rupees Five) only for Net Banking or Service Charge of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty only) for payment through Bank Counter (Off-Line Payment).

WBCS (Exe) Etc. Exam, 2021:  

The West Bengal Civil Service (Exe.) Etc., Examination consists of Two Parts  1) Written Examination and  2) Personality Test. Written Examination will be held in two successive stages, viz., i) Preliminary Examination comprising Objective-Type Multiple-Choice Question and ii) Main Examination (Both Objective Multiple Choice Question Type and Conventional Type).

West Bengal Public Service Commission shall likely host in March / April 2021 West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Etc. Preliminary  Examination 2021 with the Multiple-Choice Questions based on the 08 Parts (consisting) for 200 Marks to shortlist the Candidates for appearing in the Main Examination.

The Candidates shortlisted in the Preliminary Examination shall be Eligible for appearing in West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Etc. (Main) Examination 2021 consisting of 08 (02+06) Papers for 1600 Marks followed by a Personality Test.  The Marks allocated for the Group-wise Personality Test i) Groups ‘A’ & ‘B’ 200 Marks; ii) Group ‘C’ 150 Marks; iii) Group ‘D’ 100 Marks respectively.
