The Uttar Pradesh State Government aims to generate over 50 lakh jobs under 'Mission Rojgar', by March next year. In Government and private sectors the employment and self-employment opportunities shall be offered to the youth.

Uttar Pradesh Govt has decided to generate over 50 lakh jobs in government and private sectors, by march 2021. According to the Additional Chief Secretary Navneet Sehgal a database of employment in the state will be prepared in the Uttar Pradesh state. In view of this an app and a web-portal will be developed by the Directorate of Training and Employement, Uttar Pradesh. Data related to the employment will be updated every fortnight on the portal and application, he adds.

U.P Government on Tuesday decided to set a target of generating over 50 lakh government and private sector jobs in the state. Under the tagline of "Mission Rojgar" the opportunities will be generate both in the public and private sectors by March 2021. "Yogi Adityanath led state government will set an help desk in every department, which will inform about the employment programmes and job fairs at respective government department and private sector owned Corporations, Organizations and registered companies, Sehgal says.

Through an official statement Additional Chief Secretary, of Uttar Pradesh Navneet Sehgal says that more than 50 lakh youth will get a chance to apply for the Uttar Pradesh government and private sector jobs by March next year. Uttar Pradesh Govt aims to generate over 50 lakh jobs to the youth by the end of this financial-year.

In each district a committee will be set up under the chairmanship of District Megistrate in preparation of action plan at the district level for the jobs, spokesperson adds. The Directorate of Training and employment in collaboration with private sector will conduct employment fairs and recruitment drives, he says.

These employments will include permanent, outsourcing, private sector, and employment and self-employment under Skill Development and Training mission.

The campaign will be moderated through the Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner (IIDC) and a Committee headed by the Chief Secretary will monitor it. In addition to this, state govt also aims to give training to nearly 7.93 lakh candidates this year.
