TN TRB Recruitment 2021: 2098 PG Assistant, Computer Instructor vacancies on offer

TN TRB Recruitment 2021: The Tamil Nadu Teachers' Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has released a recruitment notification for filling up of 2098 posts of Post Graduate Assistant, Physical Education Directors Gr-I, and Computer Instructor. The board invites applications from the interested and eligible candidates for the Direct Recruitment for the post of Post Graduate Assistants/Physical Education Directors Grade-I in School Education and other departments for the year 2020-2021.

According to the recruitment schedule, the online application process for TRB TN Recruitment 2021 will begin from 1st March 2021 and the last date to apply for the same is March 25. Under the direct recruitment examination, the vacancies of the Post Graduate Assistants/ Physical Education Directors Grade 1 and Computer Instructor Grade-A, a total of 2098 posts to be filled in School Education and other departments.

TN TRB Recruitment 2021: How to Apply Online

The eligible candidates can apply only through online mode on the official website www.trb.tn.nic.in. Evidence for claims made by the candidate while applying online should be submitted by the candidate at the time of Certificate Verification if called for.

Application fee: The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 500/- (Rs 250 for SC/SCA/ST and differently-abled candidates) towards the examination fee payable only through online net banking /credit card/debit card. The candidates have also to pay the service charges as applicable for online payment.

Required Eligibility:

The persons must have obtained a Post Graduate Degree, after completion of SSLC, Higher Secondary Course or its equivalent and a degree (10+2+3+2) from any University or Institution, recognized by the University Grants Commission. The Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees must have been obtained from an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission and the courses must have been duly permitted by the competent authority authorized on this behalf.

Post Graduate Assistant in Language: Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.,) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution.

Selection methodology: The selection of the eligible candidates will be based on two successive stages viz. Computer-based test and Certificate verification. The written examination will consist of a single paper of 3 hours duration with 150 MCQs. Each question carries one mark. The marks allotted to the Main Subject, Educational Methodology and General Knowledge.

Key dates to remember:

According to the official notification for the recruitment of Commencement of submission of application through online mode is 1st March 2021. The closing date for submission of application through online mode is 25 March. According to the schedule, the date of written examination will be held on 26 & 27 June 2021.
