When the spy action thriller The Ghost, starring Nagarjuna in the title character, was released in theatres on October 5 to coincide with the holiday of Dussehra, neither the public nor the reviewers gave it favorable reviews. And because the movie had a weak start at the box office, the same is showing in its collections.

The movie was made on a budget that exceeded ₹25 crores. So far, The Ghost has been able to amass only ₹8 crores at the worldwide box office. Gemini TV purchased the movie's satellite rights, while Netflix purchased the movie's digital rights. The Tamil version of the movie will be made available digitally under the name "Ratchan: The Ghost". Netflix has been one of the most dominant OTT giants in India for the last 4 years & recent original releases like Delhi Crime Season 2 & Aranyak have put a lot of faith in the platform.

The Ghost OTT Release Date 

Since the movie has not even completed 10 days at the box office, its OTT release date has not been officially revealed yet. Considering its current Box office performance & falling popularity, one can expect the movie to have an early digital premiere. Makers would not wanna spend separate money on the promotion of the film's digital release. We can expect The Ghost to have its Netflix premiere in the 2nd week of November 2022.
