SSC releases Stenographer Grade C & D Exam 2020 notification, invites applications before 4 Nov

Staff Selection Commission has released Stenographer Grade C & D Examination 2020 notification & invites applications from 10 October to 4 November 2020. Candidates desirous to join as Stenographer Grade C & D under SSC Group B & C posts for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India, can apply online for SSC Stenographer exam 2020 up to 4 November 2020.

Online applications against SSC Stenographer examination 2020 can be submitted online from 10 October 2020 to 04 November 2020. The last date and time for receipt of applications would be Nov 4, 2020 (23:30 Hours), while the closing date for making online fee payment is decided as 06.11.2020. Applications are required to be submitted in online mode only at the official website of SSC Headquarters ssc.nic.in.

Age Criteria: 

(a) Stenographer Grade C: 18 to 30 years as on 01.08.2020

(b) Stenographer Grade D: 18 to 27 years as on 01.08.2020

Educational Qualifications (As on 01.08.2020):

Candidates must have passed Class 12 standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

SSC Stenographer Exam 2020 Apply Online:

Eligible candidates may apply online for SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Examination 2020 at ssc.ni.in. A detailed format of Application, instructions are laid down thorougly in the advertisment. 

Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login. The last date and time for submission of online applications is 04.11.2020 (23:30).

Application Fee is payable of Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only). For women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with disability (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation there is no fee.

Selection Process:

The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade C (Group B, Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade D (Group C) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India.

Computer Based Examination will be conducted from 29.03.2021 to 31.03.2021. The Examination will consist 200 questions, each carrying equal mark. Stenographer Grade C & D paper will carry questions from General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness and English Language and Comprehension.
