SSC Stenographer Exam 2018 Final Results declared, 1251 candidates shortlisted for DV

Final Result of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ examination 2018 has been announced by SSC. The Staff Selection Commission shortlists a total 1158 candidates for the Document Verification (DV) for the Grade C and D. A total 473 candidates are recommended in the Grade 'C' Category, followed by 991 candidates in Grade 'D'.

The Staff Selection Commission declared the result of the Skill Test of Stenographer Grade ‘C’& ‘D’ Examination, 2018 on 18.03.2020. In the said result, a total of 1158 candidates were declared qualified for Document Verification to the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 2786 candidates were declared qualified for Document Verification to the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’.

"Commission received the representations from candidates regarding error in one master passage. "These representations were duly examined by the Commission and corrective action was taken with respect to the master passage. In addition, the Commission also re-examined the scripts of all the qualified candidates", notice reads.

Based on the schdeule, allocation of posts and departments to the qualified candidates has been made on the basis of merit-cum-‘order of preference’ of ‘Posts/ Departments’ exercised by the candidates at the time of Document Verification, it adds.

Percentage of mistakes of Stenographer Gr C & D Examination 2018 skill test will be available on the Commission's website on 3rd December 2020. SSC has also decided to conduct the Stenographer Exam 2019 Grade C and D exam on December 22.
