SSC JHT Notification 2020: The Staff Selection Commission has released notification on Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Jr Translator, Sr Hindi Translator Recruitment 2020 on Monday. SSC begins the online recruitment process for JHT, SHT recruitment has also started. On total 283 posts (275 posts for Junior Translator / Junior Hindi Translator, 8 posts for Senior Hindi Translator,) in the Central Government Ministries and Departments. Online applications for this recruitment can be filled on or before 25 July.
The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open competitive examination for recruitment of Group B Non-Gazetted posts of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. The Online application can be filled from 29 June to 25 July 2020. Eligibility Required- Age Limit- 18 to 30 years as on 01-01-2021 i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1991 and not later than 01-01-2003 are eligible to apply.
Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.

Selection Process- Based on the marks scored in the Paper-1 i.e. Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Paper-2. If the Computer Based Examination is conducted in multiple shifts, normalized marks will be used to determine merit. Based on the performance in Paper-1 +Paper-2, candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification.
