SSC GD Constable Exam 2021 Notification in first Week of May, 84,000 posts likely on Offer

SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2021 notification will be published in the first week of May 2021, official notice of Staff Selection Commission says. To fill over 84,000 posts of Constable (GD) in CAPFS, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles the Commission will be conducting the Constable GD Examination 2021.

The Staff Selection Commission on Friday, April 9, 2021 released an important notice regarding the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination 2021 stating that the online application process to kickstart in the first Week of May.

"Aspiring candidates for Constable (GD) in CAPFS, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2021, are hereby informed that Notice of Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2021, which was scheduled to be published on 25.03.2021, will now be published in the first week of May 2021", an official notice reads.

The Commission is yet to notify the exact date of publishing of notification. The candidates would be able to apply for SSC GD Constable Exam 2021, once the notification is available and the link to the online application activates. Earlier, SSC GD Constable Notification was to be released on 25 March 2021. Recruitment details of SSC GD Constable Exam 2021 are as follows-

Constable (General Duty) and Rifleman (General Duty)- 84,000 posts

SSC GD Constable Eligibility Conditions: 

Candidates seeking to apply for SSC GD Constable Examination 2021 should have passed Matriculation (10TH Class) Examination from a recognized board. The age of the candidates should be between 18 years to 23 years (for the Unreserved category, relaxation will be provided to the candidates belonging to Reserved categories). Candidates who successfully apply for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2021 will be called for Computer Based Test, issuing e-Call letters through www.ssc.nic.in.

Selection Process:

The selection process consists of Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). The process of examination, intimation, shortlisting and other details can be obtained from the official notification, expected to be released soon.

Computer-Based Exam (CBT)- Each question will carry equal marks. All questions will be of Multiple-Choice Type with four options containing one right answer. There shall be a negative marking of 1/3.

General Intelligence and Reasoning- 25 Questions

General Knowledge and General Awareness- 25 Questions

Language Test (Hindi/English)- 25 Questions

Elementary Mathematics: 25 Questions.
