SSC CGL 2020 Notification: Online Application begins, last date to apply stands January 31st

Staff Selection Commission will hold Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2020 for filling up of various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in different Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations. Commission invites online applications from interested Graduate candidates from 29 December 2020 at SSC online registration portal. Last date and time for submission of online applications is 31 January 2021, 23:30 hours.

SSC Combined Graduate Level examination 2020 (Tier 1) will be held from 25 May to 7 June, 2021. According to the CGL notification the vacancies include Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Sub Inspector, Assistant, Inspector, UDC Clerk, Tax Assistant among others. The ingrediants of the SSC CGL 2020 exam notification are as follows-

Essential Educational Qualifications (as on 01-01-2021)- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute. For Junior Statistical Officer a Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level are required.

Age of the applicant should be between 18-27 years. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02 Jan 1994 and not later than 01 Jan 2003. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for Reserved categories as per centre govt act.

How to apply: Applications must be submitted only in online mode at the official website of SSC Headquarter i.e. https://ssc.nic.in. For detailed instructions. Application fee or Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only) will be payable online. Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan. 10.4 Online fee can be paid by candidates up to 02-02-2021 (23:59).

Note- Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the SSC website.
