NCTE Recruitment 2020: Apply for Assistant, Steno, LDC & DEO vacancies, before Sept 19

National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has released recruitment notification for filling up 18 posts of Assistant, Stenographer Gr C & D, Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Data Entry Operator (DEO) etc posts. Applications are invited from eligible candidates from 20 August, 2020 to 19 Sept 2020. Candidates can apply for the NCTE Recruitment advertised posts on or before the last date at ncte.gov.in.  

NCTE to fill the 3 posts of Assistant, 3 post of Stenographer Grade C, 6 posts of Stenographer Grade D, 01 post of Data Entry Operator and 5 posts of Lower Division Clerk. NCTE invites online applications from Indian citizens for recruitment for the said post online. Candidates are required to apply online through the NCTE website www.ncte.gov.in No other means/mode of submission of applications will be accepted.

Eligibility Criteria Required:

Assistant: A degree from a recognized university. 

Stenographer Grade ‘C’: 1. 10+2 from a recognized Board or University. A speed of 100 words per minutes in English/ Hindi Shorthand. Skill of Data Entry and Word Processing in computer. 

Stenographer Grade ‘D’: 1) 12th class pass from a recognized Board or University 2) Skill Test Norms Dictation: 10 mts @ 80 w.p.m Transcription: 65 mts. (Eng.) 75 mts. (Hindi) (On Manual Typewriter) Or 50 mts (Eng.) 65 mts. (Hindi) (On Computer). 

Data Entry Operator (DEO): 1) 10+2 from a recognized Board / University. 2) Should possess a speed of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry Work. 

Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 1) 10+2 from a recognized Board or University. 2) A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.

Selection Process:

There may be Computer Based Test/Examination followed by Skill Test of the eligible candidates. If the number of candidates is less, the NCTE will select suitable persons based on interview after shortlisting of candidates as per the criteria decided by the NCTE. There will be no interview for the post of Assistant, Stenographer Grade ‘C’, Stenographer Grade ‘D’, Lower Division Clerk (LDC) & Data Entry Operator (DEO)

Candidates are required to apply Online through National Council for Teacher Education website www.ncte.gov.in only. No other means/mode of application will be accepted. Candidates are required to have a valid personal email ID. The Commencement of online registration on NCTE website to begin from 20 August 2020 onwards and the last date for online registration 19 September 2020 (11:59 PM).
