Educational Qualification and Experience:
For the Posts of Sub-Inspector (Unarmed/ Armed Branch) candidates should have passed Graduation/ Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Institute.
Candidates should have passed Class 12th / Intermediate for Constable post. For Armed Branch Constable/ BN Constable/Driver Constable (Male) Class 9th and for Commando Constable (Female/Male) Class 10th will be sufficient/ Whereas for the post of Follower candidates possessing Class 5th also can apply.
Age Limit:
Age limit of the applicants should lie between the Criteria given below-
For Unarmed Branch- Sub-Inspector/ AB Sub-Inspector – 21 to 27 Years
For Unarmed Branch- Constable/Fireman (Male) /Driver / MPRO Operator Constable and Signal Operator – 18 to 21 Years
For Armed Branch Constable/BN Constable/Driver Constable (Male) – 18 to 21 Years
For Commando Constable (Female/Male) – 18 to 21 Years
For Follower -18 to 27 Years

Selection of the candidates will be based on the basis of Written Examination, Physical Efficiency Test and Interview. Trade test will be conducted in place of written test for the post of Constable, Sub Inspector (Armed/Unarmed).
