Only local students will be eligible for Govt Jobs in Madhya Pradesh, says CM Chauhan

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Tuesday said that state Government is working on the ordinance after which, only local candidates will be eligible for the Government Jobs in Madhya Pradesh state. On Tuesday MP Chief Minister said that govt is making law to limit govt jobs for state citizens only. “The law will help in achieving equal opportunities for the most deserving candidates”, Chauhan said. 

Through a video message Chief Minister said that necessary legal provisions are being made to provide government jobs in Madhya Pradesh to only local candidates. CM also said that state resources are only meant only for the residents of Madhya Pradesh state, he added. 

The statement made through a video message, hints that Government is about to bring ordinance to localise the Government job opportunities in state. However, the details of ordinance are not yet disclosed.

However, a section of the Job aspirants says that by restricting the Govt jobs opportunities to local candidates, how will this help in achieving Equal Opportunities for most deserving candidates across the country?
