KVS Admission 1st Merit List 2021 Updates: Lottery Drawn, direct link for first list & documents required

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) will release the 1st list of selected candidates (provisionally) for Class 1 admissions today, June 23, 2021. For Admissions into Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Class 1 the first merit list, lottery draw, documents required & instructions are going to be released today. Parents can view the lottery draw started online at 9:00 am and also can check live updates on 1st merit list. It is hereby informed to students/ parents the draw of KVS Class 1 lottery is being streamed live at youtube from 9:30 am. The candidates/ parents may check the youtube page for school-wise lottery draw/ merit updates. 

For admissions into 1247 Kendriya Vidyalayas, the 1st merit list 2021 of class 1 is scheduled today. Admissions into schools will be done under first, second & third merit list. This year, the Kendriya Vidyalaya admission list is being released through lottery draws. The draw of the first lottery is being streamed online on youtube from 9:30 am.

Release of KVS 1st Class Merit list:

On Tuesday Kendriya Vidyalayas released their first merit list for Class 1 admissions 2021-22. Schools drawing the lotteries, released students names through the 1st merit list. Parents/ Guardians can check out their kids names in the school wise merit list.

If there are seats available after the first merit list, then the School will release the second merit list on August 19 and the third on August 23. The students who will not get a place in first merit list have to wait for second and third list, on August 24 and August 26 respectively.

How to Check first Merit List 2020:

• Go to the website of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan / kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in
• Visit Admission section
• Select the Class 1 Admission merit list 2021
• Enter Registration credentials
• Check the School wise Merit list 

Availability of Lotteries:

Parents can check the status of their applications in lotteries to be conducted for various admission categories by clicking on "Check Application Status".

KVS 1st Admission Documents required:

For admission in KVs, the parents should submit mobile number and email address, digital photograph of candidate or scanned photograph of the child seeking admission (JPEG file of size at most 256KB), a scan of the child’s birth certificate (JPEG or PDF file of size at most 256KB), certificate of EWS/ BPL in case you are applying under the respective category, transfer details of parent/grandparent. Here are the details of documents required for Class 1 admissions into Kendriya Vidyalayas-

1. Age certificate proof (in the form of a birth certificate). 

2. Proof of Residence or Address proof.

3. A certificate that the child belongs to the Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ EWS/ OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/ BPL wherever applicable.

4. A certificate certifying the child to be handicapped, wherever applicable. 

5. A service certificate showing the number of transfers during the preceding 7 years duly signed and stamped by the head of office bearing the name of parents/ grandparents.
