HSSC JE recruitment to be cancelled, 146 Juior System Engineer posts withdrawn

Haryana Staff Selection Commission is set to cancel the Junior Engineer (System) recruitment examination. Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd has asked HSSC to cancel recruitment on 146 Junior System Engineer posts. After one year of the Recruitment advertisement and holding examination, DHBVNL decided to withdraw Junior System Engineer 146 posts. The decision taken by Company, is forcing Haryana Staff Selection Commission to scrap JE (System) 146 posts from the recruitment.

Haryana Staff Selection Commission under the advt no 11/2019 (Category No 1) invited the applications on Junior System Engineer 146 posts in DHBVNL.  Applications were received from 10th July 2019 to 25 July 2019. HSSC recently conducted the Written examination for the JE (System) 146 posts. Whereas, issuing notice to Commission, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd (DHBVN) on July 7, decided to withdraw Junior System Engineer 146 posts. The decision comes when youth of the state is facing quite shortage of employment.

After the decision taken by Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, All India Employees’ Union has raised its dissatisfaction over the decision and asked to reverse it. Following the decision candidates have warned HSSC Commission of protest. Candidates have also asked Chief Minister of the Haryana to intervene in the matter.

Selection on Junior System Engineer post was to be held on the basis of performance in Written examination and Socio-Economic Criteria. HSSC has organized the written examination for Jr System Engineer Advt no 11/2019 (category 1).

Note- It is being anticipated that HSSC to cancel the JE recruitment for the Category No 1, Junior System Engineer (146 posts). However, the official intimation on cancellation of Junior Engineer recruitment is yet to be made. Candidates are advised to keep visiting the officail website hssc.gov.in for official updates.
