Haryana Jail Warder Jobs 2020, 699 Posts to be filled on Ad-Hoc basis

The Department of Haryana Prisons has announced to recruit Jail Warders on 699 posts in State. Department on Friday submitted the proposal on recruitment of Ex-Serviceman from various Armed Forces and Paramilitary forces for the post of Jail Warder in different districts. The department has outlined detailed plan to fill these 699 vacancies on ad-hoc basis for a fixed period of time, an official said on Friday.

Department of Haryana Prisons outlined the plan to hire on 699 posts of Jail Warder to assist the Haryana Police personnel. Ex-Serviceman from Paramilitary Forces and Armed Police Forces are eligible to apply for the said Haryana Jail Warder vacancies. Candidates’ age should lie between 25 to 50 for the SPO/ Jail Warder post, notice states. Among Jail Warder vacant positions in Haryana Jail Department 118 posts in Rewari, 117 in Karnal, 83 posts in Gurugram and 82 in Faridabad are vacant.  

To fill the 699 posts of Jail Warder in Haryana state, Department is all set to begin the recruitment process at official website. The recruitment will be on ad-hoc basis of one year, notice said. Vacancies distribution is as follows-

Rewari- 118 posts, Karnal- 117, Gurugram- 83 posts, Faridabad- 82 posts, Ambala- 30 posts, Hisar- 102, Bhiwani- 12 posts, Jhajjar- 03 posts, Kurukshetra- 09 posts, Kaithal- 11, Jind- 27, Narnaul- 16, Palwal-01, Panipat- 47, Rohtak- 05, Sirsa 07, Sonepat- 04 and Yamunanagar- 27 posts are vacant.

Jail Warder Eligibility- A candidate should be an Ex-Serviceman / ex-personal of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) or SSB. Age of applicants should not be more than 50 years. The details in regarding the selection process/ pay scale and schedule for application will be intimated at official website of Jail Department, Haryana.
