Fire Operator Eligibility Required-

Applicants must pass Matric / 10th qualification from a recognized Institute /Board or equivalent. And should possess valid license for driving heavy duty vehicles. 

Age Criteria-

Age of the candidates should not exceed 27 Years before end last date of application.  

Physical Requirements-

1. Minimum Height- 165 cms (relaxable of 5 cms for hilly area people)

2. Minimum Weight: 50 kgs

3. Chest (normal): 81 cms Chest (expanded): 86.5 cms

4. Eye Sight: 6/6

DSSSB Fire Operator Jobs 2019 Application Form/ Fee

Application in Online mode are open at below given link. The details of the qualification, age limit, fee etc. are available on the website. Candidates must apply online. The closing date for submission of online application is up to 06/11/2019 after which the link will be disabled. 

Application Fee Required- Candidates from Un-reserved categories have 100/- as application fee charges. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman exempted from Payment of Fee. 

Selection Procedure-  

Candidates register Online for DSSSB Fire Operator Jobs 2019 will initially issued the Call Letters for Single Tier Online Computer Based Test. The selection shall be made through One Tier (G) examination scheme and Physical Endurance Test as prescribed by the Chief Fire Officer. 

Should qualify physical endurance test, driving test and written test.

Pay Scale- 5200-20200 + Grade Pay RS 2000/- 

DSSSB Fire Operator Exam Syllabus-  

One Tier Examination:-  

(i) General Awareness: Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s General Awareness of the environment around him/her and its application to society. The questions will be relating to History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/International Organizations /Institutions etc.  

(ii) General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability: The syllabus of General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability includes questions of both verbal and non-verbal types. Include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship, concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series etc shall be there. 

(iii) Arithmetical & Numerical Ability: The test of Arithmetical and Numerical Abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Data Interpretation, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs etc.  

(iv) Hindi Language & Comprehension and English Language: English and Hindi Languages, questions on its Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms and its correct usage etc. would also be covered.
