Colour Photo Movie Review

Colour Photo built up decent expectations from the teaser. The film released at 6 PM on Aha, a Telugu platform for videos and movies. Suhas is a comedian and he is the main lead actor in this film alongside Telugu beauty Chandini Chowdary whereas comedian Sunil is seen in a negative role. In this movie, the lead actor Suhas has played the role of a boy who is not good looking by looks whereas Chandini, she is beautiful and good looking.

Colour Photo is a romance based action movie, the makers of the movie bring out the essence of a historical love story based on looks and caste. It is set out in a rural village named Machilipatnam in the year 1997. Suhas plays the character of Jaya Krishna and Chandini Chowdary is playing the character of Deepthi. Both go to same college and later fall in love with each other. Jaya struggles in expressing his love for Deepthi, but luckily one day he expresses what he feels for her.

Deepthi shares mutual feelings and the young couple falls deeply in love with each other despite their caste and colour. One day, Deepthi's brother gets to know about their relationship and asks her to break up with her. All the actors did a fair job in this movie, Suhas maintained the balance of comedy and action. Sunil carried the negative role with ease whereas Viva Harsha created a fun environment with comical antics in the first half of the movie.

This film reviews the culture of our society and how we deal with it in our everyday life. It brings the element of history when people used to get married on the basis of caste and religion. The movie is based on reality, where dominant society degrade the people who are not really good looking and they do not really get their own identity in society. It is very important to make more movies like this to normalize skin color, cast, looks, and religion.
