Chhalaang movie is a Hindi language film that represents the story of Monu aka Mahinder Singh role played by Rajkummar Rao, a man who has a history of giving up on every task he has ever done in his life. Montu is a PT teacher at his childhood high school in a small village of Haryana. He considers his job as just a regular job and spends his PT classes eating samosa under the tree whereas students catch up on their other subject's homework on their game periods.

Later on, a female teacher joins the school named Neelu role played by Nushrratt Bharuccha. Rajkummar Rao falls in love with her and to prove to her that he is worthy of his job he challenges another PT teacher who joined the school, the role played by Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. Life throws lemons at Montu's life when he decides to show his worth to his childhood school and Neelu. He will compete against Mr. Singh in a three-round contest, pitting Montu's students against his.

Chhalaang movie is the story of an unexceptional man with little talent who desires to accomplish the goals that he set for himself because at the end of the day those hurdles are the hardest thing to overcome in life. Zeeshan has also matched Rajkummar Rao at every step with his acting skills and dialogue delivery.
Nushrratt Bharuccha is the third wheel of this movie for which Rajkummar Rao challenged Zeeshan Ayyub. She is playing the character of a progressive new-age girl who is very consistent with her voice for a reason. Her character speaks for realism and also add needed comic relief in the film. Saurabh Shukla also did an amazing job as a supporting actor.

Overall, the film is a must-watch. All the actors including the group of children did an amazing job with their roles. Cinematography, editing skills, graphics, scripting, and acting is amazing and the whole cast and crew did an amazing job in the film. The film talks about realism and shows how sports are also an important part of education system in our country. The movie gives a message that no job is big or small, it is all in the mind and it depends on you whether you take it with dignity or respect.
