7 Days Mobile Services of this Category will be Suspended: TRAI New MNP System Coming

As per reports Telecom Regulatory Authority TRAI has decided to suspend MNP Services for 7 Days in November 2019. TRAI Authority will close all services of Mobile Numbers Portability due to new version trials in MNP Services. As per reports customers will not be able to apply for mobile number portability MNP Mobile Services between November 4 to 10. The reason behind Suspension of Mobile Services (MNP Category) is the adoption of new & simple one Mobile Number Portability system which likely to be effective from November 11, 2019.

Mobile Services of MNP Category will remain Suspended

As per reports from sources, TRAI is working to modernize the MNP services which will result the suspension of the Mobile Services of MNP from 4th November 2019 to 10th November. Customers will not be able to apply for MNP between November 4 and 10 due to new system for Mobile Number Portability (MNP) which is scheduled as per briefed dates. Applications for mobile number portability will not be submitted on November 4, 2019 from 6 pm to 10 pm. The new system will come into effect from 11 November 2019. TRAI has said that under the existing MNP process, mobile subscribers can generate a unique porting code (UPC) and submit a port request to the operator of their choice. This process has to be completed by 17:59:59 hrs on 4 November 2019. 

MNP Services Will remain Suspended NEWS

Based on PTI & official TRAI announcement Telecom Regulatory Authority of India is going to adopt new Portability system. If a person applies for this Category Mobile Services (MNP) and tries to change a mobile network operator under this service from 4-10, Services will not be provided.

Warning For AIRCEL Users

In Another Notice TRAI warned the AIRCEL Sim Card users to Port their numbers into other Operator before 31 October 2019- TRAI issues Direction to all Telecom Service Providers and MNPSPs for providing final opportunity to the subscribers of Aircel Group for porting their mobile numbers by 31st October 2019

New Mobile Number Portability MNP Services

In the new mobile number portability system, the whole process will be fast and simple. Under the new system the process will take less time to complete. The current limit for a number portability is seven days & through new version of Mobile Portability, Process will become smooth and less time consuming. TRAI also said that there will be a 'no service period' for 6 days for mobile number portability in all licensed service areas (LSAs). At the same time, the application of number portability from one circle to another will be completed in five days.
