Thuramukham Release date

'Thuramukham' is an upcoming Indian Malayalam language period action drama movie starring Nivin Pauly, Indrajith Sukumaran, Joju George, Arjun Ashokan, and Sudev Nair in prominent roles. The film is directed by Rajeev Ravi and written by Gopan Chidambaram, it's based on the play by his father K.M. Chidambaram.

The film showcases the struggles and protests of workers against the not-so-famous 'Chappa system' of casual labor allocation, a work guarantee scheme that was practiced in Kochi's Mattancherry harbor in the 1940s-50s. With so much anticipation and so much of a long wait finally, it's going to release on 22nd December 2022.
