This Korean-American actor Steven Yeun was born in Seoul, South Korea, on December 21, 1983. Most people know him as Glenn Rhee from the popular TV series "The Walking Dead."
Yeun's family immigrated to the United States when he was four years old, and he grew up in Michigan. He attended Kalamazoo College, where he majored in Psychology and Theater. After college, he moved to Chicago and started performing with the improv group, The Second City.
In 2010, Yeun moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. He landed his breakout role as Glenn Rhee in "The Walking Dead" in 2010 and appeared in the series for six seasons. He has since appeared in several other films and TV series, including "Okja," "Sorry to Bother You," and "Minari," which earned him critical acclaim and an Oscar nomination for Best Actor.
