Ram Pothineni wqas born on 15th May 1988 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. he nephew of noted film producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore, Ram Pothineni is an Indian film actor, known for his work in Telugu film industry. Pothineni made his film debut in 2006 with the masala flick Devadasu, which became a blockbuster at the box office. he is best known for his work in Telugu and Tamil film Industry. he is born in a family which had filmy connection, he too was destined to become an actor. He started off by acting in an acclaimed Tamil short film, "Adayalam" in the year 2002. He finally made debut with the Telugu film Devadasu in 2006. He was cast opposite Ileana D Cruz in this film. The film was success at the box office and he too started getting various offers after his debut fillm. He was then cast opposite Genelia D'Souza in the blockbuster film Ready in 2008. This film made him an overnight star and people started taking him seriously. After some ups and downs in the next some years, he came back strong with yet another blockbuster in Kandireega in the yer 2011. He by now was among the sought after actors of Telugu film industry. Unlike other regional actors, who works in multiple films at the same time, Ram decided to concentrate on doing good work and has had mostly had only 1 release every year.
