Qala Release date

Set up to be released on 1st Dec 2022 ‘Qala’ is a new upcoming movie where it will show the story of a singer in the film industry. It’s a period film set in the late 1940s, where Actress Triptii Dimri plays the lead role of a famous playback singer Qala. As a lead hero ‘Babil Khan’, the Son of the legendary late actor ‘Irrfan Khan’ debuted to blur the lines between fiction and reality on the OTT platform Netflix. 

The film’s trailer follows up a famous playback singer in the film industry who is at the peak of her career and as she gets more popularity, she starts losing her self-control and sense of reality with a new competition Jagan, a phenomenon singer who played by Babil Khan, he starts messing with her. ‘Swastika Mukherjee’ played her mother’s character, Qala calls her mother repeatedly but it's like pushing her over the edge and seems to be a one-way conversation.
