R. Muthuraman was a Tamil actor who was popularly referred as ?Navarasa Thilakam?. He started his career as a stage actor and later made his debut in cinema in 1959 with the movie Abalai Anjugam. He has worked in more than 100 movies in his lifetime; some of them are Thenthoosi, Kaadhalikka NeramillaiandServer Sundaram. He died at the age of 52, on October 16, 1981.
