Matilda the Musical Release date

'Matilda the Musical is a 2022 British fantasy comedy movie directed by Matthew Warchus and screenplay by Dennis Kelly it is based on the 2011 stage musical of the same name by Tim Minchin, Kelly, and Warchus, itself based on the 1988 novel Matilda by Roald Dahl. 

The movie has its world premiere at the BFI London Films on 5th October and got released on 5th November 2022, in the UK by Sony Pictures Releasing International via TriStar Pictures. However, it is scheduled to be theatrically in the US on 9th December 2022 and will be available for the digital streaming platform via Netflix on Christmas Day, 25th November 2022.
