Summary -
Based on one of the lesser known stories from Ramayana, the film follows the events leading up to the final confrontation between Rama and Ravana. On the eve of the decisive battle, Rama and Lakshmana are captured by Mahiravana - an evil sorcerer who is the brother and ally of Ravana. As Mahiravana prepares to sacrifice the two princes to attain invincibility, it is up to the all-powerful Hanuman to travel to the netherworld and save his beloved companions from the mighty necromancer.
