Capsule Gill Release date

'Capsule Gill' is an upcoming Biopic of Jaswant Singh Gill, starring Akshaye Kumar and Parineeti Chopra. Jaswant Singh Gill was mining engineer who rescued 65 miners trapped in a flooded coal mine in West Bengal's Raniganj in 1989.

The movie will be directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, who has earlier helmed the National Award-winning film Rustom 2016 pairing with Akshaye Kumar. The film is estimated to get released in 2nd quarter of 2023.
