Taissa Farmiga is an American actress, known for her work in film and television. She was born on August 17, 1994, in Readington, New Jersey, and is the younger sister of actress Vera Farmiga.
Farmiga began her acting career in 2011 when she was cast as Violet Harmon in the FX horror series American Horror Story. She appeared in the first and third seasons of the show, and her performance earned critical acclaim and a dedicated fan following. She has since appeared in several other projects, including the films The Bling Ring, Mindscape, and The Final Girls.
In 2018, Farmiga starred in the horror film The Nun, a spin-off of The Conjuring series, in which she played the role of Sister Irene. The film was a commercial success, grossing over $365 million worldwide.
Farmiga's other notable film and television credits include the series Wicked City and the films Rules Don't Apply, What They Had, and We Have Always Lived in the Castle.
