Simon Kinberg is a British-born American screenwriter and producer who is best known for his work in the X-Men film franchise. He started out in Hollywood by penning the screenplay for popular films like Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005) and X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), before venturing into production with the sci-fi action movie Jumper (2008). Kinberg has since produced critically acclaimed blockbusters like X-Men: First Class (2011), X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), The Martian (2015) and Deadpool (2016).
