Thousands in-line waiting for joining in Railway under ALP Technician 2018 Recruitment

Candidates selected in ALP Technician 2018 Recruitment examination from the Bhopal region are still waiting for their joining in Indian Railways. Lodging a social media campaign on Monday thousands of students demand Railways to offer them the joining even after three years when Indian Railways invited applications.

Thousands of candidates who have qualified in Assistant Loco-Pilot and Technician Gr-III Examination 2018 are waiting for their joining letters. The candidates on Monday launched a social-media campaign under hashtag 'JobKiBaat' and raised demands for their joining. It has gone three years now when Railways released advertisements and invited online applications for the recruitment of ALP Technicians against 64371 vacancies.

As per the media reports, Indian Railways has declared the final results of ALP Technician last year. Releasing a provisional panel of selected candidates Indian Railways is would have commenced the training process of the selected candidates, but got stuck due to Coronavirus pandemic, former CEO of Indian Railways VK Yadav told in November 2020.

According to the students who called on social media campaign demanding joining said the Indian Railways Bhopal region is yet to offer them the joining as ALP, Technician under recruitment exam 2018.

On Monday, lodging a social media campaign thousands of students demanded Indian Railways to look upon the matter of the students who are in line waiting for their joining even after they have been declared selected in ALP, Technician vacancies that were advertised three years back.

Indian Railways under Advt no- 01/2018 invited applications for the recruitment to the posts of Assistant Loco-Pilot and Technician Grade III, on 64371 posts. The final results of the recruitment were declared in April 2019. WCR Railways scheduled the training programme for RRB Bhopal selected candidates from 1st March 2021, which has been postponed till further notice, according to a recent notice from Railway Recruitment Board. The delay in process of training and joining finally led to a social media campaign in which thousands of candidates joined.
