On Thursday, a Chinese national was arrested in Malda, West Bengal by BSF troops. The intercepted Chinese national was questioned thereafter by the concerned agencies, sources told ANI.
"A Chinese national was intercepted by BSF troops in the area of Malda, West Bengal. Interview of the individual is presently underway by concerned agencies," BSF sources told news agency ANI.

This is not for the first time Indian forces arrested a Chinese national in suspicious conditions in West Bengal. In March month two Chinese nationals were captured by the agencies from Bagdogra airport in West Bengal.
The interrogation was underway at the time of the news report. According to sources, the arrest of a Chinese national amid ongoing conditions may raise alarm among the state and national security agencies.
