Streaming platform ZEE5 announces a next film titled "State of Siege Akshardham", based on the attack on the temple of Akshardham in Gujarat in 2020. A few days back ZEE5 announced a new film on his Twitter handle. After "State of Siege: 11/26", this project continues the legacy of the "Siege" series to honor Indian soldiers.

In 2002, a terrorist attack took place in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, at the Akshardham Temple, in which more than 30 people lost their lives and 80 were injured. Then the NSG arrived at the destination and took over the situation. ZEE5 Head of Programming Aparna Acharekar said they are proud to announce this original film. Abhimanyu Singh, founder, and chief executive officer of Conélite Pictures, said his goal is to show what is behind some of the attacks the country has witnessed, through the "Siege" franchise.

The original State of Siege Akshardham movie is directed by Ghosh and he said it's a huge responsibility. Director said we will decode the entire event and present it to viewers through our film. According to the report, the creators will soon announce a joint cast, and this State of Siege: Akshardham is scheduled to go to the flats this year and is scheduled for release in 2021.
