Pareeksha - The Final Test is an upcoming bollywood film, Prakash Jha's Pareeksha to premiere on ZEE5 from August 6. Pareeksha starring by Adil Hussain, Priyanka Bose, Sanjay Suri and Shubham Jha. Pareeksha directed by Prakash Jha - to have its international premiere at 23rd Shanghai International Film Festival SIFF [held from 25 July to 2 Aug 2020]. Pareeksha movie story based on the education system in India and revolves around the story of an ordinary rickshaw driver in Bihar who aspires and dreams of providing a maximum possible quality education to his son by making arrangements for him to study at a private English medium school.
Pareesha film is based on the real life story of IPS officer Abhayanand who teaches and coaches kids in a village in Bihar affecred by the Naxal to help them pass in the IIT-JEE exams. Initially intended for theatrical release, the film is scheduled to premiere through ZEE5 on 6 August 2020.
Announcing his collaboration with Prakash Jha on his official Twitter account, ZEE5 wrote: "Very proud to collaborate with award-winning national director Prakash Jha to announce our upcoming original ZEE5 film Pareeksha - The Final Test, starring Adil Hussain, Sanjay Suri, Priyanka Bose. "

Inspired by the real life experience of IPS officer Abhayanand, a former Bihar DGP, the film revolves around the story of a rickshaw shooter, who goes out of his way to provide a decent education for his son. Abhayanand, while serving as chief of police in infested areas of Naxal in Bihar, began training children in the village to help them decipher the IIT-JEE exams. He also used to give free coaching to disadvantaged children together with mathematician Anand Kumar.
Speaking about Abhayanand's story, Prakash Raj said in a statement: "His success had a major impact on the crime-infested wastelands of Bihar and made a difference. I felt compelled to tell this story and gave us ZEE5 "A wonderful companion has aired. A platform that will take the subject to the level it deserves," PTI told the news agency.
Prakash Jha is known for directing and producing films with a socio-political theme, such as Mritadand, Apaharan, Gangajal, Rajnetti, Arcashan, and Chakravyuh. His final directorial project was Jai Gangajal, in which Priyanka Chopra played the lead role.
