The festive season is around the corner and makers of film and web series are all set to release their film and web series to provide entertainment to their views in this pandemic Diwali. In this web series, Angad Bedi is seen playing the role of Bhaskar Shetty who is an encounter specialist cop who has taken the charge of cleaning crimes from the streets of his city Mumbai whereas Sikander Kher is seen playing the role of an underworld don.
The web series is based on political views, crime rates, thriller, and action in Mumbai City in which Angad Bedi takes the responsibility to clean the crime mess. The web series shows the scenes of 1990 in which Mumbai Police organize a team of an anti-terrorism group of police to remove crime incidents in the city. The whole show relies on cops and gangsters in which the crimes groups are eyeing the crown of power and politics.
It s just another gang war stories but it has been intelligibly shown that how a good cop turns into a bad cop. It has been inspired by real-life and has been attracted his viewers to gather their attention. However, there were few scenes that were not required, for example, there comes a woman who comes to meet Bhaskar while he is in jail. Who is she? What is the relation between Bhaskar and that woman? There was no back story shown.
Viewers might find it difficult to imagine the whole plot that is premised from the back 80s to 90s. Talking about acting and dialogue delivery, Akshay Choubey's web series has done a commendable job in it. But as we say everything cannot be perfect, the post-production team could have used vintage and old looking filters to make it looked like the back era in the 80s to 90s.
Angad Bedi has put on a wonderful show but his uniform is not fully fashioned per the era. His expressions were priceless and it looked like he worked very hard for it. He has shown very smooth changes of emotions. Sikander does not look aged after a single decade, these few things could make the show more successful but overall everyone did an amazing job. Well, the web series has shown the different flavors of Mumbai with the perfect mix of a fun rap with Marathi language and a swagger beat.
Sikander played an outstanding character of the gangster with his own unique style. Even being the gangster, he showed a soft side to his audience with huge originality. Overall, it is a fast-paced show which is perfect for a one time watch.
