This is a strange comedy-drama with a lot of Tamil pop culture references. This web series follows four college students who are held by police as the rest of the students on campus remain silent. The initial scene in the trailer is reminiscent of Vijay's performance in the 2017 action film Mersal. The main protagonists of Meme Boys are presented in a similar vein to Rajinikanth's legendary introduction scene from Sivaji, stating that they have been arrested for sharing memes for the people of the nation.
