The movie review of Laghushanka gathers the attention of society on an uncomfortable topic which people generally find difficult to share with people. The story is about a girl names Shruti who is about to get married. She suffers from a habit of bedwetting. As Shruti is about to get married, she and her mother take all the precautions to not reveal it to the groom and his family.   

The movie is written and directed by Nikhil Mehrotra who also has done amazing in several movies such as Dangal, Chhichore, Panga, and Gunjan Saxena. Through this movie, the director has shown the importance of telling the truth in our everyday lives.  Kanupriya Pandit, Narottam Baid, Vijay Kumar Shukla, Rita Agarwal are the supporting actors of the movie.

The character of Shruti is played by Shweta Tripathi. The girl Shruti gets married and she gets scared if her husband comes to know the truth. After getting married, she wakes up again the next morning and cries that she has done it again. This is the first time she cries in the movie.

Laghushanka brings the attention of society to the matter that how every individual is different. Everybody is different in their own way, it depends on you that how you want to accept yourself. It is very important to love yourself first because then only you would be able to love others. 

We can clearly say that Shweta Tripathi is the star of this short film. The way she has acted and presented her dialogue is so impactful. During the order of her acts, she allows her supporting actors to shine in their own way. The dialogues delivered by the supporting casts are the time stealers. It made the whole short film worth watching. Everything feels so real about the short film.
