Dilli on Amazon Prime: Saif Ali Khan and Dimple Kapadia starrer to premiere in January 2021

Dilli is an Indian drama based on action web series releasing on Amazon Prime Video next year in January 2021. The series is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, featuring Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover, and Sarah Jane Dias in the main leading role. The show is produced by  Offside Entertainment, Ali Abbas Zafar, and Himanshu Mehta.

As per the reports, Saif Ali Khan is not happy with the title of the series as it only represents the geographical location of a  place. Dilli is a political drama that a subsequent mission to accomplish. The release date of the series is not yet confirmed but it will out soon by the makers.

As per the glimpse, fans can expect high voltage political drama. The trailer is not released as yet but it can come anytime soon. Saif Ali Khan is playing the role of a politician alongside Dimple Kapadia, Sarah Jane Dias, and Sunil Grover. As the country India had and still has a strong political system, the concept leads to the climax of the show that people in India leave and breathe politics. 

Dilli web series will be showing dirty politics amid students, murderers, sex scandals, and many more. Earlier the show was supposed to be called Tandav which explains so many emotions but the makers changed it to bring the real essence of the show. Dilli will delve into JNU as well as reveal much more about the capital of India.

Saif Ali Khan is not very happy with the title as it only portrays a geographical location and it should tell the tale of so much more. He hopes that Dilli is merely a working title and the makers change it in a manner to capture the essence of what the show is about. Earlier the show was supposed to be called Taandav which was more apt than the current working title.

Saif Ali Khan is earlier seen in Sacred Games Season 2. He did not praise season 2 as much as he did season 1 of Sacred Games. He was earlier seen in Tanha Ji directed by Om Raut and produced by Ajay Devgan, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar under Ajay Devgn films and T-Series Films released on 10 January 2020.
