Company officials, however, declined to disclose the name of the hospital where employees have been isolated. "We have brought the matter up to the district administration,' said the spokesman. However, despite repeated attempts, neither the district magistrate nor the medical director could be available to confirm positive OPPO-related cases.
However, this has not affected Vivo's manufacturing as the construction site is nearly 15 km away from its operating unit, the sources said. OPPO and Vivo, along with other leading device manufacturers, resumed manufacturing at their Noida and Greater Noida factories with a 30% workforce beginning May 8.
OPPO restarted manufacturing operations with a 30% workforce, with around 3,000 employees working on a rotation of more than 10,000 employees at its facility based in Kasna, Greater Noida. Vivo also resumed production at its production facilities with approximately 30 percent of its working capacity.
