Sai Tamhankar was born on 25 June 1986 in Sangli (Maharashtra), India. She is an Indian Film Actress & Television Actress.
Sai Tamhankar compelet her schooling from Sangli Convent School and complete her graduation in commerce from Sangli Chintaman College of Commerce. She was active in sports since her childhood and even though she was a Kabbadi player at a state level. Her enthusiasm towards acting rose when she was studied in college and during her college studies; she started participating in the stage functions and in the inter-college competitions.
She exhibited her acting talent in the play "Aadhe Adhure" and though she won the awards for Best Actress. She was more invigorated after getting this award. In 2008, she made her acting debut through the Subhash Ghai?s directed film Black & White starring Anil Kapoor, Aditi Sharma, and Shefali Chhaya. In the same year, she appeared in the Marathi film Sanai Choughade as Sayee and in A. R. Murugadoss directed film Ghajini which was her career first ever-biggest hit and commercially gainer at the box office with the record collection of 232 crores.
